Day Seven: My Birthday!

After Honfleur, a bunch of us made pasta for dinner and ate together in the room. After that we got ready and went clubbing.  The club that we went to is called Le Duplex. We took the metro there and walked a long way. It  wasnt too bad, but i mean i was in heels so i wasnt going to walk that all the way home. When we got to  the club it was crowded with people! The admission was 20 euros and it  came with a free drink. I got the usual, pineapple vodka.  There was 3 dance floors, each having different themes. There was a techno theme, Latin theme, and American pop theme. We danced at each one! The techno vibe was amazing, the latin one was hilarious, and the pop one was just like an American club. It was kinda nice for once to go to a club were guys ask you to dance rather than having nasty guys just grab you. Overall it was definitely fun! The crazy thing about it, is that they dont close till 6am in the morning! We didnt stay until 6 just because we had other things to do for the day of my birthday, but we stayed until 4 or so! We took a taxi home and were pretty much extremely tired. For the rest of my birthday Francesca and I went to the flea-market and got food for our American inspired dinner tonight (a post will be posted about it)! Then afterwards we went on the metro and decided to go to the Eiffel Tower. We walked around and took some pictures. We didnt actually go up, just because we are planning to go on another day and there was tons of people there. After that we took the metro again and ran into my roommate. We then went and got amazing ice cream. The cool thing about this place is that they shape the ice cream into a flower! Its still early here, so there is more things to do to celebrate but so far so good!!! I hear of some pubs and clubs celebrating the 4th of july which is kinda funny!  The only thing that sucks is that i have homework and a midterm Tuesday. SO i might have to call it a night =/! BUT..... THANKS for everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday!!!! <3
